Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025

Addressing the Bharat Yuva Neta Samvaad program, PM Modi said, “While talking to you today, I am also seeing a picture of developed India. What do we want to see in developed India? What kind of India do we want to see? Where there will be maximum opportunities to earn well and study well… Will we become developed only by speaking? …When the criterion for every decision of ours will be the same, developed India. When the direction of every step of ours will be the same, developed India… then no power in the world will be able to stop us from developing.”

‘India will become the world’s third largest economy’

PM Modi said, “I have spoken from the Red Fort about bringing 1 lakh new youth into politics. Politics can also be a great medium to implement our suggestions. I am sure that many of you youngsters will also come forward to participate in politics.” He said, “In this journey of developed India, we have to set new goals every day and achieve them. The day is not far when India will achieve the goal of the third largest economy in the world. In the last 10 years, the country has lifted 25 crore people out of poverty, at the pace we are moving, the day is not far when the whole of India will be free from poverty.”

‘India is achieving the target before the scheduled time’

At Bharat Mandapam, PM Modi said, “Today, India is achieving its goals in many sectors before the scheduled time. You will remember the time of Corona, the world was worried about the vaccine, it was being said that it would take years to make a vaccine for Corona, but Indian scientists showed it by making the vaccine before time.”

Addressing the youth, PM Modi said, “In the 1930s, America was caught in a severe economic crisis, then the people of America decided that we have to get out of this and move forward at a fast pace. They chose that path and America not only came out of that crisis, but also increased the speed of development many times over.”

India's Yuva Shakti is driving remarkable transformations. The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue serves as an inspiring platform, uniting the energy and innovative spirit of our youth to shape a developed India. #VBYLD2025 https://t.co/gjIqBbyuFU

PM Modi’s speech in 5 points

1. On youth

I have a lot of faith in you and this faith inspired me to establish http://MYBharat.com, this faith formed the basis of Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue. I believe that the power of youth will make India a developed nation as soon as possible.

2. On developed India

What do we want to see in developed India, what kind of India do we want to see? Developed India means one which is economically, strategically, socially and culturally strong. Where the economy will be strong and the ecology will also be rich. Where there will be maximum opportunities for good income and education. Where there will be the world’s largest young skilled manpower. Where the youth will have an open sky to fulfill their dreams.

3. On the strength of India

In the 1930s, America was caught in a severe economic crisis, then the people of America decided that we have to get out of it and move forward at a fast pace. They chose that path and America not only came out of that crisis, but also accelerated the pace of development many times faster. There are many such countries, events, societies, groups in the world. There have been many such examples in our country too. The people of India took a pledge of independence. What all power did the British Sultanate not have, what all did they not have, but the country stood up, started living the dream of independence and the people of India showed it by achieving independence.

4. On the future of India

Today the world is watching this pace of India. We had expressed our commitment towards green energy in G20. India became the first country in the world to fulfill the Paris commitment. This was accomplished 9 years before the scheduled time. Now India has set a target of mixing 20% ethanol in petrol by 2030. This target will also be accomplished before 2030.

5. On Swami Vivekananda

Today, this Bharat Mandapam has also been filled with energy due to the energy of India’s youth power. Today, the whole country is remembering Swami Vivekananda ji, honoring him. Swami Vivekananda ji had a lot of faith in the youth of the country. Swami ji used to say that I have faith in the young generation, in the new generation. Swami ji used to say that my workers will come from the young generation and they will find solutions to every problem.

Selection of youth in 3 rounds, quiz was conducted in 12 languages

3 thousand youth between the ages of 15 and 29 have been selected for the Developed India Young Leaders Dialogue. They were selected after a selection process conducted in three rounds.

In the first round, the Developed India Quiz was conducted in 12 languages. 30 lakh youth participated in it.
