UP Politics: During the last few days, there is a lot of politics going on on bringing BSP in the India alliance. Different statements are coming from Samajwadi Party and Congress. But now SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has got the support of RLD Chief Jayant Chaudhary. Both the leaders have launched a verbal attack without taking Mayawati’s name.Â
Jayant Chaudhary was asked whether RLD is bringing BSP into the alliance? On this he said, ‘I keep seeing a lot of reports. Someone speaks in favor and someone speaks against. The truth is that BSP does not have its own stand. You are also running this discussion but have you heard any statement from his side that I want to join the India alliance?’
Actually, earlier Akhilesh Yadav had raised questions about Mayawati. When he was asked a question related to BSP joining the India alliance, he had said, ‘We are taking guarantees before the elections, who will take guarantees after that.’
Answer given on seat sharing
When Jayat Chaudhary was asked about seat sharing in the alliance, he said, ‘Talks are going on. We are fighting in the entire UP, the matter of the constituent parties of India Alliance will be decided in some time. Talks are going on between Samajwadi Party and Lok Dal. We will decide. When a strategy is made, things are decided behind the scenes.’
He said that whenever there is an alliance, it does not happen easily. Every party has its own requirements. Everyone wants to grow their party, I also want justice to be done to our workers. But we are pursuing a bigger objective. We have very good relations and there is mutual respect.
