Republic Day 2024: On the occasion of India 76th Republic Day, tableaux of different states were taken out on the duty path. The theme of each tableau was prepared reflecting the diversity of that state. The theme of Jharkhand’s tableau was ‘Tasar Silk’, while the theme of Madhya Pradesh’s tableau was ‘Self-reliant women-development’. Every traditional dance was also seen along with the tableaux. This year, a total of 16 states/union territories tableaux were taken out on the Path of Duty.Â
The Republic Day celebrations started with the hoisting of the national flag by President Draupadi Murmu. After this the national anthem was sung. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and all the dignitaries present there saluted the flag. After this, the parade started on the duty path, in which first of all, India’s cultural diversity, unity and progress, its military power based on growing indigenous capabilities and increasing women power in the country were displayed.
Not only this, but the achievements made by India in the last one year were also shown through tableaus. Tableaux showing the success of Chandrayaan-3 and the increasing modernity in India passed through the path of duty.
What was the theme of the tableaux of which state?
- The theme of the tableau of Arunachal Pradesh was ‘Bugun Community Reserve-Developed India’. In this the biodiversity of the state was shown.
- Haryana’s tableau was ‘Mera Parivar-Meri Pehchaan’. This is a program of Haryana Government. Along with this, traditional dance of Haryana was also seen.
- The theme of Manipur’s tableau was ‘Thambal Gi Langla-Kamal Dhaage’, in which women power was demonstrated. A market was also mentioned in this.
- A tableau of Madhya Pradesh was brought out with the ‘mantra of self-reliant women-development’, in which the self-reliant and progressive attitude of the women of the state was shown.
- Odisha’s tableau on duty with ‘Women Empowerment in Developed India’ showcases the state’s rich handicraft achievements.
- The theme of Chhattisgarh’s tableau was ‘Primitive People’s Parliament of Bastar Muria Darbar’. It reflected the traditional democratic values ​​present in the tribal communities.
- The tableau of Rajasthan came among the people with the theme ‘Developed India – Visit our country’. Through this tableau, the festivals of Rajasthan were shown.
- Maharashtra’s tableau was taken out in the Republic Day Parade with the theme ‘Inspiration for Indian Democracy: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’.
- The theme of Andhra Pradesh’s tableau was ‘Making students globally competitive by transforming school education in Andhra Pradesh’.
- The tableau of Ladakh came out to parade on the duty path with the theme ‘Developed India: Empowering women through employment in the journey to Ladakh’.
- The theme of the tableau of Tamil Nadu was ‘Kudavolai system in ancient Tamil Nadu – mother of democracy’, in which democratic systems were talked about.
- The tableau of Gujarat on the Path of Duty was brought with the theme ‘Dhordo: A Global Icon of Gujarat’s Border Tourism’. Traditional dance was also seen here.
- The theme of Meghalaya’s tableau was ‘Prosperous Tourism of Meghalaya’, in which it was told which are the places to visit in the state.
- The tableau of Jharkhand came on the duty path with the theme ‘Tasar Silk of Jharkhand’. It depicted the richness of silk.
- The tableau of Uttar Pradesh was presented with ‘Ayodhya: Developed India – Rich Heritage’. Ramlala also appeared on the tableau.
- The theme of the Telangana tableau was ‘Grassroots Democracy: The Legacy of the Freedom Fighters of Telangana’.
