Afghanistan Landslide: About 25 people have died due to landslide in Nuristan province of Afghanistan. Apart from this, there is also news of about 10 people getting injured due to landslide in Noorgaram district. Information and Communication Chief Mohammad Abdullah Jan, while sharing information on this incident, said that due to heavy rains, many mountains have slipped in Nakarah village of Noorgaram district. Due to which there has been huge loss of public money. About 15 to 20 houses have been hit by this natural disaster.
The communications chief further informed that due to the recent rains, roads in Nuristan, Kunar and Panjshir provinces have been blocked. Khama Press, based on information received by the Ministry of Disaster Management, has reported that an avalanche has occurred in Panjshir province. About 5 employees have gone missing due to its impact.
However, according to local officials of Panjshir, 2 of the missing employees have already died. In recent times, Afghanistan has had to face natural disasters like landslides and avalanches several times. Due to this he has suffered huge loss of life and property.
Apart from natural disaster, the faltering economy here is also a matter of crisis. The situation is such that common citizens are finding it difficult to survive.
Afghanistan, which is already suffering from poverty, has also had to face isolation at the international level. After the arrival of Taliban in 2021, there has been further economic turmoil. This is the reason why Afghanistan is sinking further into debt day by day.
