TMC Candidates List 2024: Shatrughan Sinha from Asansol, Mahua Moitra from Krishnanagar, read which faces TMC has fielded in Bengal?

TMC Candidates List: Trinamool Congress (TMC) has announced candidates for 42 seats on Sunday (March 10) for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In this list of TMC, the party led by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, former MP Mahua Moitra has been given a chance to contest the elections again. Former cricketers Kirti Azad and Yusuf Pathan have also been thrown into the election fray. 

Apart from Mahua Moitra, in the TMC list, the party has also placed its bets on Yusuf Pathan, who has played cricket for Team India, while Shatrughan Sinha, who came into politics from the world of acting, has also been given a chance. Shatrughan Sinha is also the current MP from Asansol seat. 

Arjun Singh and Nusrat Jahan’s ticket canceled 

Many big names are also included in the seats for which TMC has announced names. The party has also canceled the ticket of Arjun Singh from Barrackpore seat. The party has also canceled the ticket of Nusrat Jahan. Haji Nurul Islam has been fielded from Nusrat Jahan’s Lok Sabha seat Basirhat. At the same time, former cricketer Kirti Azad has also been made a candidate from Bardhaman-Durgapur.

Big faces in TMC’s list:

TMC has given ticket to Abhishek Banerjee from Diamond Harbour.
Actress Sayoni Ghosh has been given ticket from Jadavpur in place of Mimi Chakraborty.
Mahua Moitra has been fielded from Krishnanagar.
Actor Shatrughan Sinha has been fielded from Asansol. He is also the current MP from here.
Shatabdi Roy has got the ticket from Birbhum.
Former cricketer and BJP MP from Bardhaman Durgapur, Kirti Azad has been given the ticket. 
Cricketer Yusuf Pathan has been fielded from Baharampur.
Actress Rachna Banerjee has got the ticket from Hooghly seat.
