Education News: CBSE has cancelled the licenses of 20 schools in the country. CBSE teams had conducted a surprise inspection of these schools. During this, it was found that some schools are running in the name of dummy students for show. Records are also not being maintained in the school.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken strict action against 20 schools across the country which were running a business of loot in the name of education. CBSE has cancelled the recognition of 20 such schools which were running by flouting the rules. There are also three schools whose recognition has not been cancelled yet but they have definitely been downgraded. CBSE has issued a press release giving detailed information about this.
CBSE says that its team had done a surprise inspection of these schools. During the investigation, it was found that some schools are being run in the name of dummy students. In reality, children do not come here to study. CBSE claims that various misconducts of presenting ineligible students came to light during this investigation. These schools were not maintaining the candidates and records properly. After a thorough investigation, it has been decided to cancel the recognition of the schools and reduce their status.

Action on six schools of Delhi
A total of six schools of the country’s capital Delhi are included in the list released by CBSE. Out of these, the recognition of five schools has been canceled while one school has been downgraded. It includes three schools from UP, 2 each from Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala.
