Elections 2024, Congress Candidate List: In view of the Lok Sabha elections, Congress released another candidate list on Saturday (April 13). Changing the seat of Anandpur Sahib MP Manish Tiwari, Congress has given him a ticket from Chandigarh.
Former Himachal CM Virbhadra Singh’s son and Congress MLA Vikramaditya Singh has been fielded against actress Kangana Ranaut from Mandi Lok Sabha seat. Vinod Sultanpuri from Shimla and Paresh Dhanani from Rajkot have got tickets. In this list of Congress, names of 16 candidates from four states have been announced. These include names of 4 candidates for Gujarat, 2 for Himachal Pradesh, 1 for Chandigarh and 9 for Odisha.

Congress has nominated Ramji Thakor (Palvi) from Mehsana seat of Gujarat. Pareshbhai Dhanani from Rajkot seat, Himmat Singh Patel from Ahmedabad East and Naisadh Desai from Navsari seat have been nominated.
Himachal Pradesh: Vikramaditya vs BJP’s Kangana Ranaut
Congress has fielded two candidates in the latest list for Himachal Pradesh. Here, Vikramaditya has been fielded against BJP’s Kangana Ranaut from Mandi seat. His name was already being discussed and his mother and state president Pratibha Singh had also announced it. Vinod Sultanpuri has been given ticket from Shimla seat of the state.
Nine candidates announced in Odisha
Congress has fielded 9 candidates for Odisha, in which Srikant Kumar Jha has been given ticket from Balasore seat. Mohan Hembram from Keonjhar ST seat, Anant Prasad Sethi from Bhadrak seat, Aanchal Das from Jajpur seat have been made candidates. Sashmita Behera from Dhenkanal seat, Siddharth Swarum Das from Kendrapada seat, Ravindra Kumar Sethi from Jagatsinghpur seat, Sucharita Mohanty from Puri and Yasir Nawaz from Bhubaneswar seat have entered the electoral fray.

In the list released by Congress on Saturday, five candidates have been announced to contest the Gujarat by-elections. The party has nominated Dineshbhai Tulsidas Patel from Vijapur seat, Rajubhai Bhimanbhai Odedara from Porbandar, Haribhai Govindbhai Kansagra from Manavdar, Mahendrasingh Harisingh Parmar from Khambhat seat and Kanubhai Pujabhai Gohil from Waghodiya seat.
