CSK vs LSG IPL 2024: Lucknow beats Chennai by 8 wickets, KL Rahul Shines with Strong Performance

CSK vs LSG IPL 2024: Lucknow Super Giants team has achieved its fourth success of the season by performing brilliantly at Ekana Sports City. The 34th match of IPL 2024 was played between Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings on Friday (19 April 2024). In this match, Lucknow team managed to get a big win by 8 wickets in 19 overs. Captain KL Rahul was seen in great rhythm while chasing the target for the team. Opening the innings for his team, he played the highest half-century innings of 82 runs in 53 balls. During this, 9 fours and 3 excellent sixes came off his bat. 

Apart from Rahul, Quinton de Kock was the second highest scorer for Lucknow Super Giants. He played a half-century innings of 54 runs in 43 balls. Meanwhile, 5 fours and 1 six came off his bat. Apart from these two batsmen, Nicholas Pooran contributed unbeaten 19 runs in 10 balls and Marcus Stoinis contributed unbeaten 7 runs in 6 balls.

Chennai Super Kings, playing first, scored 176 runs against Lucknow Super Giants. CSK’s start was bad as Rachin Ravindra was dismissed for zero. At the same time, captain Rituraj Gaikwad also could not do anything special, who scored 17 runs. Ravindra Jadeja scored the most runs for Chennai, who played a brilliant innings of 57 runs in 40 balls. He also hit 5 fours and 1 six in his innings.
