Renault India Upcoming Renault Cars: French automobile manufacturer Renault has recently given some updates in its existing line-up to increase sales in the Indian market. The company has also revealed its upcoming plans for the Indian automotive market, with Renault announcing a major investment of €3 billion. This will be used to bring new models to the country and increase localization. The company has announced to launch 5 new cars and SUVs in the Indian market in the next 3 years.

New Generation Renault Kiger, Triber

Renault has confirmed that it will introduce the next generation Kiger compact SUV and Triber MPV. It can be launched in 2025-26. The new models will be based on Renault’s CMF-A modular architecture, which is also used for the company’s existing cars. Its design can be changed for better security. The new models will come with updated styling and new feature-loaded interiors. Both models are likely to retain the existing 1.0L 3-cylinder NA petrol and 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engines.

Renault has officially announced that the third generation Duster SUV will be launched in the Indian market in 2025. Apart from this, a 7-seater version of the SUV will also be launched in the country by 2025-26. Both SUVs will be based on the Renault-Nissan joint venture’s CMF-B modular platform, which will also be used for Nissan’s upcoming mid-size SUV and 7-seater SUV.

The new models will have modern interiors with many high-level features including ADAS technology. Additionally, the new Duster will come with a new 1.6L hybrid powertrain, which generates a combined power output of 140hp. It can also get a 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine with mild hybrid technology, which will also support AWD system.

Renault Kwid EV

The company will also launch a new electric car in the country in 2026, the new Kwid EV electric car is expected to be manufactured locally. The electric hatchback will be based on the updated CMF-A platform. This entry-level electric hatchback will be from Tata Tiago EV, MG Comet and Citroen eC3.
