Anil Kapoor had given this advice to the actor

Anil Kapoor and Sridevi’s ‘Lamhe’ was also released along with Ajay Devgan’s debut film ‘Phool Aur Kaante’. Before the release, Anil Kapoor had advised Ajay that the release of ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ along with a big film like ‘Lamhe’ could prove to be costly for him. Ajay himself admitted this in the show. However, when both the films were released, Ajay and Madhu’s ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ became a superhit and ‘Lamhe’ flopped.
