Shahrukh Khan’s stardom remains intact
In January 2023, Shahrukh Khan made a tremendous comeback with Pathan. The effect of his stardom was that this film of Shahrukh Khan, who could not give a hit for years, did a business of more than 1000 crores.Â

GOAT actor Vijay is the second highest taxpayer from Tamil film industry
The other person who is leading in terms of income and tax payment is not from Bollywood but from Tamil film industry. We are talking about GOAT actor Vijay who has recently indicated his retirement from films by forming a political party. Vijay has paid some 80 crore rupees as tax and thus has become the highest tax paying celebrity after Shahrukh Khan.
Bollywood’s Bhaijaan is at number three
Salman Khan comes third in terms of paying taxes, who is once again ruling the hearts of people by hosting ‘Bigg Boss’. In the financial year 2023-2024, Salman Khan paid a total of ₹ 75 crores as tax and thus got the third position in the list of tax payers.
Shahenshah and Big B got fourth place
Amitabh Bachchan, who is considered the king of acting and has been hosting ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ for the last 24 years, has secured the fourth position as a tax payer. He paid Rs 4 crore less tax than Salman Khan, i.e. by paying Rs 71 crore tax, Big B secured his place in the top 5.
Cricketer Virat Kohli got fifth place in top 5
The top 5 list of highest tax payers as individuals includes three Bollywood actors and one South actor, while the fifth position is occupied by a non-actor. He is none other than famous cricketer and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma’s husband Virat Kohli. He has secured the fifth position in this list by paying Rs 66 crore as tax.
