Bahraich Violence Escalates: Tension is increasing in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The fire of violence that erupted during the Durga idol immersion procession did not stop even on Monday. Rioters created a ruckus at Raji intersection of Maharajganj on Monday morning as well. After this, internet has been shut down in some areas of Bahraich. 1- In Maharajganj on Monday morning, villagers came out on the streets with sticks and rods. These people targeted the bikes parked on the road and set the shops on fire. After this, the police took charge and tried to control the crowd.
2- In view of the increasing uproar in Bahraich, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered ADG Law and Order and STF Chief Amitabh Yash to visit the spot. In this case, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has given instructions for strict action. Earlier on Sunday, CM Yogi had said that the rioters will not be spared.

10- In UP’s Bahraich, a young man was killed in firing after objectionable slogans were raised during the Durga idol immersion procession and many others were injured in the stampede. On Sunday evening, tension escalated due to sloganeering and stone pelting by a particular community over the procession in Mahsi’s Maharajganj in Bahraich. A Hindu youth was killed in the firing that followed.
