Bangalore Blast Update : The number of injured in the sudden explosion at the famous Rameshwaram Cafe in Bengaluru, Karnataka on Friday (01 March) afternoon has increased to 9. Meanwhile, Chief Minister of the state Siddaramaiah has claimed that someone had left the bag inside the cafe. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses have said that there was no arrangement for an ambulance to take those who were injured after the blast to the hospital. He has claimed that the injured had to be taken to the hospital in an auto rickshaw. After the blast, the forensic department team reached the spot and collected samples.
What do the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister have to say?
On the blast in Rameshwaram cafe, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah said, “CCTV footage of the cafe is being examined. It was found that someone had left a bag in the cafe. The accused in the incident will be punished.” Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said. That there has been an explosion in the cafe this afternoon. How the blast happened is being investigated. FSL team (forensic) and dog squad are on the spot. We will be able to get information after collecting samples, we also know It remains to be seen what their (suspects involved in the blast) intention was.”
‘Investigation continues on whether it was IED or something else’
Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar said that 9 people were injured. He has been taken to the hospital. No one is seriously injured. Investigation is going on, strict action will be taken. He said that people are claiming that there is an IED in the suspicious bag. But official information has not been received yet on what was in that bag. BJP sought answers from the Chief Minister
On the other hand, BJP leader Tejashwi Surya has claimed that this is a case of bomb blast. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should answer in this. The person working as a security guard in the café told that I was standing outside the café. Many customers had come to the hotel.
