Indian Army to Deploy Dangerous Drones on Pakistan Border; Capable of Flying up to 30,000 Feet and Dropping Bombs!

Indian Army News: The Indian Army is continuously increasing its surveillance capabilities on the Pakistan border. In this episode, the Indian Army is now going to use the Hermes-900 drone. It is also called Drishti-10 drone. It will be inducted into the Indian Army on May 18 in the presence of senior army officers. Giving information, senior defense officials said that Adani Defense will give Drishti-10 drone to the Indian Army. It will be used to target terrorists.

The Indian Army had placed an order for two drones with the firm under emergency provisions. According to this, the systems supplied by the vendors should be more than 60 percent indigenous. Apart from this, it should be under ‘Make in India’ in defense. 

Will be stationed at Bathinda base 

Giving further information, military officials said that the Indian Army will deploy these drones at Bathinda base in Punjab. With this, the Indian Army will be able to keep an eye on a large area including the desert area as well as the areas in the north of Punjab. 

Indian Army is using Heron Mark 1 and Mark 2 drones 

Currently, the Indian Army is using Heron Mark 1 and Mark 2 drones. Under the last installment of emergency purchase approved by the government, the army has ordered Drishti-10 i.e. Hermes-900 drones. It has been made under Make in India. 

Know what is special 

These drones can stay in the air for more than 10 hours. They are used for reconnaissance missions as well as aerial bombing. They can fly at a height of 30 thousand feet. Apart from this, they can also lift up to 450 kg of weight.
