Who said what on Pahalgam Terror Attack…

Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister I am deeply saddened by the news of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam. This attack on innocent civilians is cowardly and reprehensible. My condolences and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families.

Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor I strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam. I assure the people that those behind this heinous attack will not be spared. Have spoken to DGP and security officials. Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police teams have reached the area and are conducting search operations.

Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister I am shocked and stunned by this attack. Attacking tourists is wrong. The perpetrators of this attack are savage, inhuman. I express my condolences to the families of the deceased. I am going back to Srinagar immediately.

Mehbooba Mufti, former Chief Minister This incident is extremely worrying. Kashmir has always welcomed tourists warmly. An investigation into the security lapse is necessary. Ensuring the safety of tourists is of utmost importance. Steps must be taken to prevent future attacks. Our condolences are with the victims and their families.

Rahul Gandhi, Congress The news of tourists being killed and many people being injured in the cowardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir is extremely condemnable and heartbreaking. The whole country is united against terrorism. Instead of making hollow claims of the situation being normal in Jammu and Kashmir, the government should take accountability and take concrete steps so that such barbaric incidents do not happen in future.
