He will be the second politician to achieve this feat after the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The program has been scheduled for 7.15 pm, for which preparations are going on in full swing at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

For which foreign guests will special food be prepared?

Officials said that after the swearing-in ceremony, selected dishes from the kitchen of Rashtrapati Bhavan and special dishes will be served to the guests at a banquet hosted by President Draupadi Murmu. Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, Maldives President Mohammad Muizzu, Seychelles Vice President Ahmed Afiq, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jagannath, Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Bhutan Prime Minister Dasho Tshering Tobgay have accepted the invitation for the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reached New Delhi this afternoon to attend the swearing-in ceremony of NDA Parliamentary Party leader Narendra Modi as Prime Minister on June 9.

Know the date, time and place

The swearing-in ceremony is to be held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 9. The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take place on Sunday, June 9 at around 7:15 pm, Rashtrapati Bhavan has confirmed. There is also news that PM Modi will visit Rajghat to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi before the swearing-in ceremony.

What will the security arrangements be like?

Delhi Police has imposed prohibitory orders and declared the national capital a no-fly zone on June 9 and 10 for the ceremony. Along with this, impenetrable security arrangements have been made at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. This can be gauged from the fact that SPG, President’s security guards, ITBP, Delhi Police, Intelligence Department, paramilitary forces, NSG’s Black Cat commandos and NDRF teams will be present in the security arrangements.

According to the police, the area around the Rashtrapati Bhavan has been made a control area. In which, Sansad Marg, Rafi Marg, Raisina Road, Rajendra Prasad Road, Mother Teresa Crescent, Sardar Patel Marg, only those vehicles will be allowed to enter during the program which have passes.

According to the police, this program will be monitored by more than 500 CCTVs. Section 144 has also been imposed in the entire New Delhi area. In view of the oath taking ceremony, many restrictions have been imposed by the Delhi Police for 9 and 10 June. Delhi has been declared a no-flying zone.

During this period, flying of sub-conventional aerial platforms like paragliders, para-motors, hang gliders, UAVs, UAS, microlight aircraft, remotely controlled aircraft has been banned in entire Delhi. Delhi Police has also issued an advisory regarding this.

What will be the cabinet of Modi government like?

On the other hand, if we talk about the cabinet, there are no chances of much change in the Home Ministry, Defense Ministry and Foreign Ministry. BJP will keep all these three ministries with itself. They will not be given to alliance partners.

In fact, after two full terms of the NDA government with full majority, this time the BJP has not got a full majority on its own in the elections. Meanwhile, discussions are going on between the BJP leadership and the allies regarding the share in the Council of Ministers for different components of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the new government.

It is believed that apart from important departments like Home, Finance, Defence and Foreign, ministries with two strong ideological aspects like Education and Culture will remain with the BJP, while its allies may get five to eight cabinet posts.

While within the party, leaders like Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh are considered certain to be included in the new cabinet, former chief ministers who won the Lok Sabha elections like Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Basavaraj Bommai, Manohar Lal Khattar and Sarbananda Sonowal are strong contenders to join the government.
