PM Modi and President Dissanayake digitally inaugurated the 120 MW Sampur Solar Power Plant, a major step toward green and sustainable energy in the region. Additionally, India will supply 5000 solar rooftop units to religious and community institutions across all 25 districts of Sri Lanka.
4. Digital and Technological Cooperation
The two nations agreed on HVDC interconnection to allow electricity import/export and pledged cooperation on digital solutions, cybersecurity, and scalable digital infrastructure. India will help Sri Lanka replicate successful Indian models like Aadhaar and UPI.

India pledged grant assistance for the development of:
