Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his address on Tuesday (5 February) in the Lok Sabha, expressed gratitude to the President for his speech, simultaneously seizing the opportunity to address the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024. With a strong focus on the opposition, particularly the Congress party, the Prime Minister drew comparisons between the present and India a decade ago.

Highlighting the achievements of the BJP in both its first and second terms, he articulated the vision for the party’s third term and outlined key initiatives for the future. In this comprehensive speech, PM Modi provided insights into the transformative journey of the nation and outlined his plans for the upcoming term in office.

Lets know 10 big things said by Narendra Modi in Parliament which can prove to be a game changer in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

  1. PM Modi first claimed to win the third term in the House. Along with this, he guaranteed that India will emerge as the third largest economy in his third term. He said that UPA had given a time limit of 30 years but it is Modi’s guarantee that we will make India a developed India in the third term.
  2. PM Modi said that the way Congress was working, it would have taken 500 years for India to reach this far. That means five generations would have passed. We gave 17 crore gas connections in 10 years. If we had followed Congress’s path, it would have taken 60 years. At the same time, he said that Jawaharlal Nehru had said on August 15 that not all people in the country have the habit of working. We cannot work as much as the people of Europe, China and America work. That means he was telling the country that he has no intelligence. He let the people of the country down.
  3. PM Modi said that it took a lot of time to fill the holes that were there during the first term of UPA. We laid the foundation of new India in the second term. Whereas in the third term we will give impetus to the third power.
  4. Talking about the first term, the PM said that in the first term, works like Swachh Bharat, Ujjwala, Ayushman Bharat, Beti Thaakh Beti Bachchan, Sugamya Bharat, Digital India were started. Decisions like GST were taken to make the tax system easier. Because of these works, the public blessed us.
  5. After this the second term started. Who worked to fulfill the resolutions and promises. The country which was waiting for a long time. Worked to complete it. PM Modi said that we saw the abolition of Article 370. Nari Shakti Vandan Act became a rule in the second term. Along with this, he also discussed about building Ram temple and said that the Ram temple which was waiting for years was built. Now it will give energy to the countrymen.
  6. Discussing the Lok Sabha elections, he said that now maximum 100 and 100 days are left for the elections. He said that the country is saying that this time it has crossed 400. But I don’t bother with statistics. However, the mood of the country seems to be that NDA will definitely cross 400. But it will definitely give 370 seats to BJP.
  7. Describing his major works in the last 10 years, the PM said, 25 crore people have come out of poverty in the last 10 years. If the poor gets the means, resources and self-respect, then the poor have the power to defeat poverty. Our brothers have made up their mind to defeat poverty. Today 50 crore poor people have their own bank account. 4 crore people have permanent houses. 11 crore families are getting pure drinking water. 25 crore people have got Ayushman card. Free treatment services have been provided to 80 crore people.
  8. The PM also talked about the Khadi industry which he said was abandoned by the Congress. But we worked to take them forward. Our government is making many efforts to eliminate poverty in every corner. For whom he was only a vote bank. Today he has come forward. Rs 2 lakh 80 thousand crores were given to the farmers through Kisan Samman Nidhi. A separate ministry was created for fishermen and animal husbandry. Kisan Credit Card was given. So that he can advance his employment.
  9. At the same time, PM Modi talked about inflation for the first time. However, he said that our government kept inflation under control. Even after two world wars and the biggest disaster of 100 years, inflation has been kept under control. However, while talking about Jawaharlal Nehru, he said that he had then said from the Red Fort that nowadays some people are in trouble, some are helpless and are troubled by inflation. When the country progresses, prices also increase to some extent. We need how to control the prices of essential commodities.
  10. PM Modi said that our government has removed 10 crore fake people. In earlier times, widow pension was given to the girl child who was not born. But by removing these fake names, we have saved Rs 3 lakh crore.
