Rajasthan Chaos: After the arrest of Naresh Meena in Deoli-Uniyara, Rajasthan, the ruckus has started again. Meena’s supporters have blocked the roads in an attempt to stop the police vehicles. Tires have also been burnt on the road of Samravata village in Deoli-Uniyara.

The police fired tear gas shells to disperse the people. The rioters also pelted stones at the police. Earlier, at around 12 pm, Naresh Meena, who slapped the SDM, was arrested from Samravata (Tonk) village of Deoli-Uniyara assembly constituency.

Actually, Samravata (Tonk) village had boycotted voting in the by-election. Independent candidate Naresh Meena was also on a dharna with the villagers. During this, Naresh Meena accused the officials of forcing the voting to take place. When SDM Amit Chaudhary tried to stop him, he slapped him.

After this, the villagers also tried to stop the polling parties after the voting time was over. Angry people also damaged the car of SP Vikas Sangwan. Meanwhile, the police took Naresh Meena into custody at around 9.30 pm. As soon as Meena’s supporters came to know about this, they became more angry.

Hundreds of villagers surrounded the police personnel and rescued Meena and took him away. More than 50 people were injured in the riot. These included 10 policemen. Meanwhile, on Thursday morning around 9.30 am, Naresh Meena suddenly reached Samravata village and accused the police of assault.

Voting was held on Wednesday for by-elections on 7 seats in Rajasthan. A total of 69.29% voting was done on these seats. The highest voting was 75.62% in Khinvsar, while the lowest voting was 62.10% in Dausa. Apart from this, 75.27% voting was done in Ramgarh, 65.80% in Jhunjhunu, 65.10% in Deoli-Uniyara, 67.01% in Salumbhar and 74.10% in Chaurasi.

Earlier, during the day’s voting, many controversies also came to the fore. In Samravata of Deoli-Uniyara assembly constituency, independent candidate Naresh Meena slapped SDM Amit Chaudhary. Meena also had a scuffle with the police officers present there. Naresh Meena is accused of forcibly entering the polling booth.

On the other hand, Naresh Meena says that the people of this village have demanded to change the subdivision headquarters. That is why they boycotted the voting, but the administrative officers were forcing people to vote by threatening them. This is what he had opposed. Late at night, Naresh Meena’s supporters pelted stones at the police and set vehicles on fire. The police fired tear gas shells and dispersed the protesters.

This incident is further increasing the tension in the election atmosphere, which is already witnessing fierce political competition regarding the by-election. Internet has been shut down in the area. Collector Saumya Jha said that Naresh Meena was supporting the villagers who had announced to boycott the voting.

There was a fierce clash between the supporters of MLA candidate Naresh Meena and the police. It is alleged that Meena supporters pelted stones at the police. Incidents of arson were also reported during the violence. To control the situation, the police fired tear gas shells. About 100 rounds of aerial firing were done.

There is a curfew-like atmosphere in the area and the police have taken strict measures to keep the situation under control. The situation is being monitored by the local administration, and police and administrative officials have been deployed to investigate the incident. Those involved in the violence will be identified and legal action will be taken. This incident is further increasing the tension in the election environment, which is already witnessing fierce political competition over the by-election.

More than 100 vehicles burnt to ashes

The violence during the by-election in Samravata village of Tonk district of Rajasthan took a serious turn. The rioters set a large number of vehicles on fire and clashed with the police. More than 100 two-wheelers and four-wheelers were burnt. Among these, many bikes and cars were targeted by the rioters. Many villagers have been injured in the violence. The administration is providing medical assistance to the injured.

The police have arrested 60 people so far. Four FIRs have been registered. This action has been taken against those involved in violence and stone pelting. The police is conducting raids at various places in search of Naresh Meena. The Tonk administration and police have increased security in the entire area after the incident. Heavy police force has been deployed, and patrolling is going on to maintain peace in the area. 12 police personnel have been injured in the stone pelting. The police had to use tear gas and aerial firing to control the crowd.
