Bharat Ratna 2024: Is it a Political Gamble? Will Modi's Move Crush 'INDIA' Alliance in Polls?

Bharat Ratna 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi government has announced 5 Bharat Ratna awards. In this, four persons who received the award are associated with politics while one person is an agricultural scientist. The results of the elections will tell whether the announcement of these names by the Central Government just before the announcement of Lok Sabha elections will benefit the Bharatiya Janata Party and NDA in the Lok Sabha elections too.

The Narendra Modi government at the Center has announced the Bharat Ratna award before the final elections of 2024. The government has made this announcement one by one three times so far.

First of all, it was announced to give the country’s highest honor to Karpoori Thakur. Karpoori Thakur has been the former Chief Minister of Bihar and one of the big leaders. After this, the government had announced the award of Bharat Ratna to senior BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani. Lal Krishna Advani has been one of the prominent leaders of the Ram Mandir movement.

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced three more names. In this, former Prime Ministers PV Narasimha Rao and Chaudhary Charan Singh as well as agricultural scientist MS Swaminathan will be honored with Bharat Ratna.

Modi said at the summit that Narasimha Rao led India through significant changes and also enriched its cultural and intellectual heritage. Modi said, Rao’s visionary leadership played an important role in making India economically advanced and laid a solid foundation for its prosperity and development.

The Prime Minister said that Bharat Ratna is dedicated to Charan Singh for his incomparable contribution to the country. PM Modi said that Swaminathan made significant contribution to the country in agriculture and farmers’ welfare. The Prime Minister said that he played an important role in India achieving self-reliance in agriculture and made excellent efforts in modernizing it.

After all, how will the announcement of Bharat Ratna Award in 2024 become a masterstroke for BJP?

Chaudhary Charan Singh is the son of the soil of Uttar Pradesh and he fought for the justice rights of the farmers. He started his political career by becoming an MLA. After this he worked for the country by becoming the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Home Minister of the country and Prime Minister.

During the Emergency, he openly stood against the government and opposed the Emergency. Announcing the award, Prime Minister Modi has said that he worked to keep democracy alive during the Emergency.

The target of BJP alliance is to win more than 400 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Regarding this, the party is making every alliance from Bihar to Uttar Pradesh. BJP is ready to form an alliance with Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) before 2024.

A meeting has also been held with Jayant Chaudhary regarding this. According to sources, BJP RLD was promised ministerial post along with 4 Lok Sabha seats in UP. While talking to Jayant Chaudhary, the Central Government has announced to give Bharat Ratna to his grandfather i.e. former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. With this, BJP is expected to benefit the BJP alliance in Jatland i.e. Western Uttar Pradesh.

Let us tell you that in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, RLD did not even open the account of Rashtriya Lok Dal which contested on 11 seats. BJP had won 19 seats, while Samajwadi Party and BSP had captured 4 seats each.

If BJP goes with RLD then it will definitely benefit in Jatland. There are 27 Lok Sabha seats in Western Uttar Pradesh. If there is an alliance between BJP and RLD, then Jat votes will go to NDA and this will increase the problems of Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samajwadi Party.

The Jat community is very happy with the award of Bharat Ratna to Chaudhary Charan Singh and in such a situation, BJP will benefit from it in the Lok Sabha elections also. Not only this, Chaudhary Charan Singh is also recognized as a farmer leader in Uttar Pradesh. After getting Bharat Ratna award, farmers may also turn towards BJP.

Giving Bharat Ratna to Narasimha Rao is a master stroke

By giving Bharat Ratna to former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, the BJP government has hit many birds with one stone. For one thing, Narasimha Rao is considered to have laid the foundation of the modern Indian economy. It was he who implemented economic liberalization effectively. It was during his period that India’s economy was open to the world.

However, he had such differences with the First Family of the Congress that after the death of Narasimha Rao, his body was not allowed to enter the Congress headquarters. Rao is seen and considered as a learned Prime Minister in the country. Besides, he has been established as a powerful Brahmin leader coming from the South. After becoming PM, he won a record by-election.

In such a situation, BJP, which is increasing its strength in the South, will definitely benefit from this decision. Besides, this will also send a good message to the upper caste voters who consider Rao as a scholar. Besides, it will also be considered as a powerful decision taken against the alleged dynastic policy of Congress. By giving Bharat Ratna to Narasimha Rao, BJP is expected to get benefit in Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

BJP does not seem to be getting much political benefit from this decision of senior journalist Rashid Kidwai. According to him, by releasing the white paper, BJP wants to degrade the policies of Congress. Whereas Congress is giving Bharat Ratna to PV Narasimha Rao, who started the current economic policy.

This is like a contradiction. Now, as far as his base is taking advantage of his political gains in the South, it can be understood from the fact that Congress had suffered a bad defeat in the elections held in Andhra when he was the Prime Minister. In such a situation, it can be understood how much benefit Congress will get.

Contributed in bringing development in the agricultural sector

Dr. MS Swaminath worked for the welfare of the farmers by making invaluable contribution in the agricultural sector of the country. Dr. Swaminathan’s visionary leadership not only transformed Indian agriculture but also helped ensure the country’s food security and prosperity. Gave.
