Lok Sabha Elections 2024 BJP candidates: Bharatiya Janata Party has released the first list of its candidates for the lok Sabha Elections 2024. This list includes the names of many leaders who had very little hope of getting the ticket. At the same time, the names of many leaders have been cut, who have been contesting elections for a long time or are big names in the country’s politics and it was considered almost certain that they would get the ticket. Here we are telling about such leaders.

Many senior leaders held a press conference at the headquarters of the Bharatiya Janata Party and released the first list of BJP candidates for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. During this, names of candidates were announced for 195 seats in 16 states and two union territories. PM Modi will contest elections from Varanasi. The names of the Lok Sabha Speaker and two former Chief Ministers are also included in this list.

BJP’s first list for the Lok Sabha elections was released on Saturday. There are names of 195 candidates in these. These include 28 women, 47 youth, 27 SC, 18 ST and 57 OBC candidates. PM Modi will contest elections from Varanasi. Jyotiraditya Scindia has been given ticket from Guna in MP and Shivraj Singh from Vidisha.

In this list, 51 are from Uttar Pradesh, 20 from West Bengal, 24 from Madhya Pradesh, 15 from Gujarat, 15 from Rajasthan, 11 from Jharkhand, 11 from Chhattisgarh, 12 from Kerala, 9 from Telangana, 11 from Assam, 5 from Delhi, These include 2 seats of Jammu and Kashmir, 3 of Uttarakhand, 2 of Arunachal, 1 of Goa, 1 of Tripura, 1 of Andaman, 1 of Daman and Diu.

Chhattisgarh: Candidates announced for all 11 seats

Surguja – Chintamani Maharaj
Korba – Saroj Pandey
Bilaspur – Tokhan Sahu
Mahasamund – Roop Kumari Chaudhary
Raigarh – Radheshyam Rathia
Bastar – Mahesh Kashyap

Janjgir – Kamlesh Jangde

Names announced for seats in 18 states.

Senior BJP leader Vinod Tawde said during the press conference that the government, dedicated to development with continuity for the last decade, has presented it with the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas. He said that names have been announced for a total of 195 seats in 18 states. On February 29, a decision was taken in the Central Election Committee for 195 seats in 16 states and 2 union territories. 

Plan to announce candidates on 50% seats by March 10

If sources are to be believed, BJP can announce the names of candidates on 50% Lok Sabha seats by March 10. The party had done the same in the 2019 elections also. Last time, a few weeks before the announcement of Lok Sabha election dates, BJP had announced the names of candidates for 164 seats on March 21.
