Rahul Kaswan Joins Congress: BJP has suffered a big setback in Rajasthan. Churu MP Rahul Kaswan resigned from the party on Monday (March 11) and joined Congress. Kaswan was angry over being denied ticket from Churu seat.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge included Kaswan, who comes from the Jat community, in the party. On this occasion, Rajasthan Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara and in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and other leaders were present.

He said, “The voice of farmers is continuously being ignored in the BJP government. There are many other such issues, considering which I am associated with the Congress family today. By staying in the Congress Party, I will continue to work in the interest of the public.
What did Rahul Kaswan say while resigning from BJP?
With the hashtag Mera Churu Loksabha Parivar, Rahul Kaswan announced his resignation from BJP on Twitter. He said, “Ram-Ram, my Churu Lok Sabha family…my family members! In accordance with the sentiments of all of you, I am going to take a big decision in public life. Due to political reasons, at this very moment today, I am resigning from the primary membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the post of Member of Parliament.
He further said, “Rahul Kaswan, entire Bharatiya Janata Party, National President Shri J.P. I express my gratitude to Nadda ji, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and Shri Amit Shah ji, who gave me the opportunity to serve the Churu Lok Sabha family for 10 years. BJP made Devendra Jhajharia its candidate
Let us tell you that on March 2, BJP had released the list of candidates. The party made Paralympic player Devendra Jhajharia its candidate from Churu seat. Kaswan expressed displeasure over this decision. Along with this, he demonstrated strength on 8 March. After this, speculations started about Kaswan joining BJP. It is believed that Congress can make him a candidate from Churu seat.
