Due to Congress’s problem, Hemant Soren took oath alone

Even after 5 days of the result, the leader of the legislative party is not decided; There is competition among Congress MLAs to become ministers

Hemant Soren took oath as CM for the fourth time today i.e. on 28 November at 4 pm at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi. He will take oath alone. The cabinet will be expanded later.

According to sources, there is a tug of war going on among the Congress MLAs regarding the ministerial posts. Due to this, the party has not been able to decide the names for the ministerial posts yet. The party has not even decided the leader of the legislative party.

Due to the rift within the Congress, Hemant Soren has decided to take oath alone. State Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir told that the cabinet will be expanded after the trust vote is won.

Congress MLAs running for Delhi

Except Congress MLAs Rameshwar Oraon, Shweta Singh and Nishat Alam, all the newly elected MLAs are in the court of top leaders in Delhi to become ministers. The MLAs have also met the party’s national general secretary KC Venugopal and pleaded for their position.

Congress has to get 4 ministerial posts

It is being told that the 2019 formula will be adopted in the new government. At that time, the formula of one ministerial post for 5 MLAs was decided. This time also the formula will be 5:1. According to sources, in the new government, there will be 6 ministers from JMM, 4 from Congress and 1 from RJD.

These MLAs can get a chance from Congress

In the Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024, 16 Congress MLAs have won the elections. In such a situation, the party high command can decide on the names of the Congress to make ministers, among which it can put its seal on any 4 out of Rameshwar Oraon, Irfan Ansari, Radhakrishna Kishore or Ramchandra Singh, Deepika Pandey Singh, Pradeep Yadav and Anoop Singh, keeping in mind the region, caste and other equations.
