Kejriwal’s announcement on Sanjeevani Yojana
- All Delhi citizens above 60 years of age will get the benefit.
- The entire treatment will be provided free of cost.
- The patient will be treated in any government or private hospital he wishes to attend.
- Under this scheme, all citizens above 60 years of age, rich and poor, will be treated.
- There will be no limit on expenditure on treatment under this scheme.
- The Delhi government will bear all the expenses of the treatment.

Why did Kejriwal bring ‘Sanjeevani’ scheme
Since Kejriwal came to power in Delhi, the health budget has increased by 16 percent. 81 thousand OPDs and 65,806 IPDs are running in 38 hospitals in Delhi. Similarly, there are 530 Mohalla clinics in Delhi, where people are getting medicines, tests and treatment every day. In such a situation, why did he announce the Sanjeevani scheme?

Candidates declared on all 70 seats
Aam Aadmi Party has announced the names of its candidates for all 70 assembly seats in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal also shared a post on Twitter while releasing the third list. In this post, he wrote, “Today Aam Aadmi Party has announced its candidates for all 70 seats. The party is contesting the elections with full confidence and preparation.”
