Modi 3.0; Elections 2024 Results: The election result of Lok Sabha elections 2024 was interesting in many respects. The election result was quite shocking for the Modi government which was going to form the government for the third consecutive time. BJP, which won 62 seats in Uttar Pradesh in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, was defeated by just 32 seats.

In this election in Uttar Pradesh, NDA lost a total of 30 seats, which was compensated by NDA from Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Bihar, otherwise due to the loss in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, NDA’s exit from power was certain.

Andhra’s TDP Becomes Lifesaver for ‘Modi 3.0’

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and future Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has emerged as a lifesaver for the NDA for its third consecutive term. Before the elections, TDP and BJP decided to fight the elections together for the NDA and TDP kept the NDA alive by hoisting the victory flag on 17 Lok Sabha seats.

TDP has made a strong comeback in the assembly elections held together and is going to form the government in Andhra Pradesh with an absolute majority. After the announcement of the election results, the TDP chief has reiterated his resolve to remain in the government with the NDA on social media.

Lotus Blooms in Orissa, Makes Waves in Both Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha

NDA’s constituent BJP is going to form the government for the first time by overthrowing the two-decade-old government led by Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik. NDA has registered a landslide victory not only in the assembly elections but also in 19 Lok Sabha seats. This will be the first time when NDA’s constituent party BJP has emerged as the largest party in the Lok Sabha and the assembly. The big victory in Odisha has helped a lot in forming Modi Government 3.0 at the center.

Elections 2024 Seventh Phase: India Alliance Deals Heavy Blow to NDA in Final Phase

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s party Janata Dal (United), which was once a constituent of the NDA, left the All India Alliance and joined the NDA just before the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The alliance with JDU and NDA just before the elections has brought great relief to the NDA in the election results.

Suppose if Nitish Kumar had been with the All India Alliance, NDA could have lost 16 more seats. In such a case, NDA would have got only 293-16 = 277 seats and the NDA government would have been in big trouble.

Elections 2024 First Phase: NDA suffered a big loss

In the first phase scheduled by the Election Commission, elections were held on a total of 102 Lok Sabha seats, in which the NDA’s performance was poor, while BJP’s performance can be called disappointing. BJP won 30 seats, Congress 27, DMK 22, SP 4, CPI 2 and others 17 seats. On April 18, the results of 102 Lok Sabha seats did not go in favor of NDA.

Elections 2024 Second Phase: Results Favorable for NDA

In the second phase of Lok Sabha elections held on 26 April, NDA’s performance was better than the first phase. In the second phase, voting took place on a total of 87 seats and in the election results, NDA got a total of 46 seats in the second phase, while Congress won 17 seats. NDA’s performance improved in the second phase too, otherwise it would have been a big thing.

NDA’s luck worked in the fourth phase of elections held on May 13. The alliance with Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu just before the elections helped the NDA government come close to power for the third consecutive time. TDP won a total of 17 seats.

Elections 2024 Third Phase: Results also gave an opportunity to the NDA

Voting took place on a total of 94 seats in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections held on 7 May. NDA repeated its old performance here too and was successful in winning 57 seats out of 94 Lok Sabha seats. Congress managed to win 15 Lok Sabha seats and Samajwadi Party 6 seats. The second and third phase elections helped NDA a lot in getting an edge.

Elections 2024 Fourth Phase: New alliances gave NDA an edge

NDA’s luck worked in the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections held on 13 May. Just before the elections, the alliance with Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu helped the NDA government come close to power for the third consecutive time. TDP won a total of 17 Lok Sabha seats and put them in the NDA’s kitty, which will play a big role in the NDA government.

Elections 2024 Fifth Phase: NDA Lags Behind Again but Didn’t Lose

In the 5th phase of elections held on 20th May, NDA suffered a slight loss, but still it managed to win 19 seats out of the total 49 seats in the fifth phase. Shiv Sena (Uddhav), Congress, TMC, SP got 4, 5, 6 and 7 seats respectively. If NDA had put in more effort in the second phase and won 7 more seats in Bengal-UP, then the figure was sure to cross 300.

In the sixth phase of elections held on 25 May, NDA performed record-breaking. In this phase, out of the total 58 seats, BJP won more than half of them. That is, NDA won 35 seats, which includes 4 seats of JDU.

Elections 2024 Sixth Phase: NDA Returns with Double Energy, Wins Over Half the Seats

In the sixth phase of elections held on 25 May, NDA performed record-breaking. In this phase, out of the total 58 seats, BJP won more than half of the seats. That is, NDA won 35 seats, which includes 4 seats of JDU, while Congress got 2 seats, SP got 10 seats, while TMC won 4 seats.

Elections 2024 Seventh Phase: Even in the last phase, India alliance caused heavy damage to NDA

In the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections held on 1 June, elections were held for a total of 57 seats. NDA tried, but India Alliance overtook it. In this phase, NDA could only get 17 seats, while India Alliance won 27 seats. TMC and Congress won 9 seats each, the rest went to other allies.

The major reason for BJP lagging behind in Uttar Pradesh was the statements of small BJP leaders who are calling for abolishing reservation and the Constitution. PM Modi tried to cover up the controversial statements in election rallies, but the opposition was successful in convincing the voters.

Ayodhya Ram Mandir Issue Fails to Deliver, Halting BJP’s Momentum

Construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya was a big issue. It was believed that BJP and NDA will break all the previous records this time, but BJP was reduced to 32 seats. Not only PM Modi, CM Yogi Adityanath was also left stunned. Not only this, BJP lost the seat of its candidate from Ayodhya Lok Sabha seat and two-time MP Lallu Singh Chauhan.

Youth of Uttar Pradesh Struggle with Unemployment, Divided by Reservation and Anti-Constitution Statements

The major reason for BJP lagging behind in Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections 2024 was the statements of small BJP leaders who are calling for abolition of reservation and the Constitution. PM Modi tried to cover up the controversial statement in election rallies, but the opposition was successful in convincing the voters.
