TMC Manifesto 2024: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections came on Wednesday (April 17, 2024). The party led by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has taken 10 oaths under it. The manifesto promises to overturn the CAA, stop the NRC and not allow the UCC to be implemented across the country. The TMC also said that if it comes to power, five kg of free ration will be given at home and 10 gas cylinders will be given free to BPL families in a year.Â
Releasing the TMC manifesto, party leader Derek O’Brien said- If TMC forms the government at the center, MNREGA will be increased to Rs 400 per day, there will be a concrete house for everyone, people above 60 years of age will be given a pension of Rs 1000 per month (Rs 12 thousand per year).
The prices of fuel and LPG will be checked, a price stabilization fund will be created, all students up to the age of 25 will get a monthly stipend, those who want to study further will be given a student credit card of Rs 10 lakh, women will get a monthly amount on the lines of Bengal’s Lakshmi Bhandar and there will be a medical insurance of Rs 10 lakh for everyone.
