Indian Cricket Team: Indian cricket team had to face 3 defeats in one day. Rohit Sharma’s captained team India was defeated by Australia in the day night test match and the 5 match test series was tied 1-1, while in the afternoon Australia defeated Indian women’s team by 122 runs in the second ODI and the series was won. By evening India’s under 19 cricket team also disappointed its fans. The under 19 team was upset by Bangladesh in the final of Asia Cup. India missed the title after coming so close. Sunday (8th December) was a day that was soon forgotten for Indian cricket fans.

Indian Cricket Team 3 Shocking Defeats in a Single Day

The Under 19 team led by Mohammad Amman was shocked by Bangladesh in the Asia Cup final. Bangladesh won the trophy for the second time in a row by defeating India by 59 runs. Bangladesh team has become the second team to become champion for the second time in a row. India’s Youngistan had lost only one match to Pakistan before the semi-finals. Bangladesh also lost only one match before the final. Team India’s bowling was excellent in the final but its batsmen flopped. Star young opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi could not do anything special in the final.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s failure to overcome technical problems against fast and spin bowling has rung alarm bells. Due to which the Indian team had to face a crushing defeat of 10 wickets in the second Test match played with the ‘pink ball’ in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) against Australia.

Australia continued its dominance in the day-night test and won the match in the first session of the third day on Sunday to level the five-match series 1-1. With this, Australia left behind the disappointing defeat of 295 runs in Perth. For Australia, this is the 12th victory in 13 day-night Tests. The team’s only defeat with the pink ball has come from the West Indies. Australia has won all eight matches in the day-night Test played in Adelaide.

Women’s team lost the ODI series

With the help of centuries from Georgia Voll and Ellyse Perry, Australia defeated India by 122 runs in the second women’s ODI here on Sunday and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Young batsman Voll, playing her second ODI, was successful in scoring the first century of her career with an innings of 101 runs in just 87 balls, while Perry dominated the Indian bowlers by scoring 105 runs in 75 balls with the help of six sixes and seven fours. Australia, after deciding to bat first and scoring 371 runs for eight wickets, bundled out India’s innings for 249 runs in 45.5 overs.
