The Under 19 team led by Mohammad Amman was shocked by Bangladesh in the Asia Cup final. Bangladesh won the trophy for the second time in a row by defeating India by 59 runs. Women’s team lost the ODI series
With the help of centuries from Georgia Voll and Ellyse Perry, Australia defeated India by 122 runs in the second women’s ODI here on Sunday and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Young batsman Voll, playing her second ODI, was successful in scoring the first century of her career with an innings of 101 runs in just 87 balls, while Perry dominated the Indian bowlers by scoring 105 runs in 75 balls with the help of six sixes and seven fours. Australia, after deciding to bat first and scoring 371 runs for eight wickets, bundled out India’s innings for 249 runs in 45.5 overs.
