KKR vs MI IPL 2024: The 51st match of IPL 2024 was played between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Wankhede Stadium on Friday. Performing brilliantly in this match, the KKR team managed to get its 7th success of the season. Chasing the target given by KKR, the entire Mumbai team collapsed for 145 runs in 18.5 overs. Thus, in this match, the KKR team managed to get a spectacular victory by 24 runs.

KKR managed to score 169 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 19.5 overs

Batting first after losing the toss at Wankhede Stadium, Kolkata Knight Riders managed to score 169 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 19.5 overs. Venkatesh Iyer was the highest scorer for the team while batting at number 5. He played the highest half-century innings of 70 runs facing 52 balls at a strike rate of 134.62. Apart from him, Manish Pandey contributed 42 runs in 31 balls while batting at number 7. Apart from these two batsmen, the third highest scorer of the team was Angkrish Raghuvanshi. Raghuvansh played an innings of 13 runs in 6 balls. Apart from these three batsmen, other KKR batsmen were out in single digits today. 

Bumrah was the most successful bowler from Mumbai

Jaspreet Bumrah was the most successful bowler from Mumbai Indians against KKR. He bowled 3.5 overs and took 3 wickets for just 18 runs. Apart from him, Nuwan Tushara also took 3 wickets, but he was quite expensive. He spent 42 runs in his 4 over spell. Apart from him, Captain Pandya took 2 wickets and Chawla took 1 wicket.
