RR vs SRH IPL 2024: The 50th match of IPL 2024 was played on Thursday between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Performing brilliantly in this match, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team managed to win by 1 run. Defending the target, the last over for SRH was bowled by experienced Indian fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar. On the last ball of the over, Rajasthan needed 2 runs to win and 1 to tie. But Kumar dismissed the opposition team’s batsman Rovman Powell LBW. Right after this, the entire SRH team along with the fans got immersed in the celebration of victory.

Meanwhile, he managed to score 67 runs at a strike rate of 167.50. During this, 7 fours and 2 sixes came off his bat. 

Apart from Jaiswal, Riyan Parag, batting at the fourth position, contributed 77 runs in 49 balls at a strike rate of 157.14. Meanwhile, 8 fours and 4 sixes came off his bat. 

Apart from these two batsmen, batting at the sixth position, Rovman Powell played a quick innings of 27 runs in just 15 balls. He got out on the last ball when 2 runs were needed. Due to which the team had to face defeat.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, who won the toss and batted first against Rajasthan Royals, scored 201 runs for 3 wickets in 20 overs. However, Hyderabad had a very bad start. In the first 6 overs, their score was just 37 runs for 2 wickets. After this, Nitish Reddy and Travis Head attacked and made a partnership of 96 runs for the third wicket. Avesh Khan was the most successful bowler for Rajasthan Royals in today’s match. He bowled 4 overs and took the maximum 2 wickets for 39 runs. His victims were Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma. Apart from Khan, Sandeep Sharma showed the way to the pavilion to Anmolpreet Singh.
