T20 World Cup 2024 Schedule: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the schedule of the 2024 T20 World Cup to be played in West Indies and USA. The Indian team is in Group-A in the tournament. Group A includes Pakistan, America, Canada and Ireland along with India. The opening of the tournament i.e. the first match will be played between USA and Canada on June 1.
A total of 55 matches will be played in the 2024 T20 World Cup. World Cup matches will be played at 9 venues in West Indies and USA, in which three American cities New York City, Dallas and Miami will host the World Cup matches.
Team India will play its first match in the 2024 T20 World Cup against Ireland on June 5. The match with Pakistan will be held on June 9. Apart from this, India will have matches against USA on 12th June and Canada on 15th June.
In the 2024 T20 World Cup, the semi-final and final matches will be played in West Indies only. The first semi-final match will be played in Guyana on June 26. The second semi-final will be held in Trinidad on June 27. The title match of the tournament i.e. the final match will be played on June 29 in Barbados.
The first match of the 2024 T20 World Cup will be played between Canada and USA on June 1. The final match of the World Cup will be held on June 29. Group stage matches will be played in the tournament between June 1 and 18. After this, Super-8 matches will be held between 19th and 24th June. Then the semi-finals will be played on 26th and 27th June and finally the final match will be played on 29th June.

Group B: England, Australia, Namibia, Scotland, Oman.
Group C: New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, Papua New Guinea.
Group D: South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands, Nepal.
League stage matches – From 1st to 18th June.
Super 8 matches- 19 to 24 June.
Semi-final matches – 26 and 27 June.
Final match- 29 June.
