Delhi to Experience 40 km/h Winds
Due to an active western disturbance, strong winds are expected to blow in the country’s capital, Delhi, for the next two days. Light rain may occur in many areas during this period. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain on Friday. The combination of rain and strong winds will bring relief from the heat in Delhi NCR areas for five days. In Delhi, along with rain, wind speeds are expected to reach 30 to 40 kilometers per hour.

The IMD also warns of a heat wave affecting many districts. On Monday, hailstorms accompanied by stormy winds hit many parts of the state. Today, rain with stormy winds is expected in Marathwada, Vidarbha, and Central Maharashtra. There is a possibility of rain in Dharashiv, Akola, Amravati, Buldhana, Washim, Sangli, and Solapur.
Chance of Rain and Snowfall in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand
According to the Meteorological Department, due to a Western Disturbance, there may be rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh on April 18-20. Additionally, there is a possibility of rain, storms, and snowfall in Uttarakhand on April 19 and 22. Furthermore, rain, thunderstorms, and lightning have been predicted in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh, and Eastern Rajasthan on April 19.

Additionally, moderate rain, thunderstorms, and strong winds are expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, and Mizoram, with isolated heavy rains likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura.
