Japan earthquake: An earthquake of magnitude 7.6 occurred in Ishikawa, Japan on New Year’s Day. According to Japan Today, 30 people have died so far, and 50 aftershocks have also been recorded. Their intensity has been between 3.4 to 4.6.
200 buildings have been burnt to ashes in Ishikawa. There is no electricity in 32,500 houses. Another earthquake warning has been issued here.
One lakh people were evacuated from their homes

1400 people trapped in bullet train
According to Japan’s government media house NHK, 500 people are trapped in vehicles in the parking lot in Noto.
At the same time, according to West Japan Railway Corporation, 1400 people are trapped in bullet trains for 11 hours. Authorities had stopped the bullet train between Hokuriku city and Toyama to check the tracks. However, some trains have been restarted. Airport closed in Noto city
Many trains and flights have been canceled after the earthquake in Japan. The maximum devastation has occurred in Noto area. Here the runway, terminal and access road of the airport have been extensively damaged. Due to this, all flights from here have been cancelled.
