The gunman was later arrested in a nearby county.

He also called his doctor, advisors and colleagues. Donald Trump called Ronnie L. Jackson, who was his doctor in the White House, and started joking with him about the incident. He said, ‘I am happy that I did not have to take your services today.’ The last time when Donald Trump was shot, it was Dr. Jackson who treated him. Trump called his colleagues and expressed regret that he was very disappointed that he could not finish his golf game. Trump also said that he had also got extra points in the game, which he could not take advantage of and he could not make a stroke.

On July 13, he was conducting a rally in Pennsylvania, when 8 rounds of bullets were fired at him from an AR-15 rifle. 3 bullets were fired in the first round and 5 in the second round. The firing was done from a distance of 400 meters. In that incident, the attacker was identified as Thomas Crooks, who was shot by a Secret Service sniper.
