India-China war may happen in 2025-2030?
Sameer Tata wrote in the report, ‘China fears that the only way to attack the Kashgar Energy Plant located in its western province of Xinjiang is through eastern Ladakh. If any enemy attacks the Kashgar energy plant and captures it, then China’s energy system will come to a standstill. The report said that the Kashgar plant is connected to Iran’s important oil and gas pipeline. This pipeline passes through Pakistan under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
The opinion of the former Indian Army Chief is different regarding the war. Talking to Eurasian Times, he said that after the Galwan conflict in 2020, China knows that the new India is not going to back down. However, he agrees with the argument that Ladakh and Karakoram Pass are part of China’s long-term strategy as these parts are important for the CPEC project.
He said that if China feels that India is reaching such a situation that it can cut off the CPEC route in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir or Tibet, then it can be a big change like 1962. In the war between India and China in 1962, India lost many of its soldiers and land.
