Hezbollah Chief Nasrallah Killed: Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah has been killed in an Israeli attack. The Israel Defense Force claimed this on Saturday. According to the Times of Israel, the IDF said that they had carried out an airstrike with bunker buster bombs on September 27 on Hezbollah’s headquarters in Lebanon’s capital Beirut, where Nasrallah was also present.
The IDF wrote on its social media account that the world no longer needs to fear Nasrallah. He will not be able to spread terror. However, Hezbollah has not yet confirmed Nasrallah’s death.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave permission to attack Hezbollah’s headquarters from his hotel room after giving a speech at the UN on Friday. After the attack, the Israeli PM’s office released a photo of Netanyahu, in which he is ordering the attack in Lebanon from a landline phone.

How Did Israel Kill Hassan Nasrallah?
According to a report by The Washington Post, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched a precision airstrike on Friday night in the Bekaa Valley area of northeastern Lebanon. The IDF had obtained critical intelligence indicating that Hezbollah’s top leadership, including their chief, Hassan Nasrallah, was present at the site. Acting on this information, Israeli Air Force fighter jets targeted Hezbollah’s underground headquarters, which was situated beneath a residential building in the Dahiya district of Beirut.
Reports suggest that the strike not only killed Nasrallah but also claimed the lives of several others, including his daughter. The destruction of Hezbollah’s headquarters is seen as a major blow to the group. The Israeli Defense Forces confirmed Nasrallah’s death in the attack, marking a significant moment in Israel’s ongoing conflict with Hezbollah.
Hezbollah Chief Killed in Israeli Airstrike
Israeli army spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that Nasrallah had been killed in the airstrike. AFP reported that the operation, named “NEW ORDER,” targeted Hezbollah’s stronghold in Beirut on Friday, 27 September 2024. Israeli spokesman David Avraham further confirmed the strike, stating that “whoever threatens Israel, we know how to reach them.”
The Israeli army continues to urge civilians in Dahiyah to vacate, as the area remains a hotspot for further strikes.
Attack on Hezbollah headquarters a day earlier
According to the Times of Israel report, the Israeli army said that they had attacked the headquarters of Hezbollah a day earlier, where Hassan Nasrallah was also present. The Israeli army is continuously attacking many areas including Beirut. The IDF has asked the people living in Dahiyah city of Beirut to vacate the area immediately. The IDF says that Hezbollah is using these places to attack Israel.

Nasrallah’s daughter also died
According to Israeli news channels, apart from Nasrallah, his daughter Zainab also died in this air strike. According to media reports, the body of Nasrallah’s daughter was found at the commander center on which Israel had attacked. Earlier on Friday night, Israel had fired a missile at Hezbollah’s headquarters, in which 6 people were killed and 90 people were injured.
Several Hezbollah commanders killed…
The Israeli army has claimed that it has killed several Hezbollah commanders during air strikes in Lebanon. The IDF said on Saturday morning, ‘The Israeli Air Force (IAF) attacked and killed the commander of Hezbollah’s missile unit in southern Lebanon, terrorist Mohammad Ali Ismail, and his deputy, terrorist Hussein Ahmed Ismail. The army has killed them as well as additional Hezbollah commanders and operatives.’
Hezbollah did not deny the news of the killing of commanders
The IDF said Mohammed Ali Ismail was responsible for attacks against Israel, including the launch of a surface-to-air missile on Wednesday. The Israeli military said it also killed Ibrahim Mohammed Kabisi and “other senior officers of Hezbollah’s missile and rocket group.” Hezbollah has neither confirmed nor denied Israel’s announcement that the commanders had been killed.
Nasrallah was the chief of Hezbollah at the age of 32
Nasrallah was the chief of the Iran-backed organization Hezbollah since 1992. He was only 32 years old when he got this responsibility. Nasrallah was one of the founding members of the organization. Khamenei calls emergency meeting in Iran
According to the New York Times, after the Israeli attack on Beirut, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei called an emergency meeting of the National Security Council at his home on Friday night. In the meeting, Iranian President Masoud Pazshkian condemned the Israeli attack and called it a war crime.
Khamenei’s advisor Ali Larijani said that Israel is crossing the limit. Killing people will not solve the problem. Other people will take their place. He said that people will unite more strongly to face Israeli terror.
The biggest war in 18 years has started between Israel and Hezbollah
