Kuwait Fire: A fire broke out in a building in Mangaf city of Kuwait. 40 Indian workers are reported to have died in this fire. 5 of them were from Kerala. More than 50 people including 30 Indians have also been injured in the accident. However, the death of 40 Indians has not been officially confirmed yet.

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has informed that 30 Indians were injured in the accident. He said that the Indian Ambassador has reached the spot and met the injured. According to the report of news agency Reuters, this accident happened at around 6 am today as per Kuwait time.

The fire that started in the kitchen on the ground floor in the morning quickly spread throughout the building. Many people were trapped inside the building. The cause of the fire is not yet known.

According to the Kuwait Times report, more than 160 workers were living in the building. Home Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousuf said that many people were living illegally in the building. Therefore, there is no concrete information about the number of those killed.

There are reports of a large number of Indians being burnt alive in a massive fire in a building in Kuwait City. It is being said that 41 people have died in this accident and more than 50 people have been admitted to the hospital. The building has been completely destroyed in this massive fire in Kuwait. When did the fire start?

According to media reports, a fire broke out on the first floor of a building located in the southern Mangaf district of Kuwait on Wednesday morning. This fire spread throughout the building in no time. The time when this fire broke out was around 6 am local time and 8 am Indian time. Around 160 people lived in the building, who are employees of the same company.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs will visit Kuwait

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that following the instructions of PM Modi, Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh will leave for Kuwait. During this time, he will hold talks to monitor the assistance to the people injured in the fire tragedy and coordinate with the local authorities to bring back the bodies of those killed in this unfortunate incident soon. Meanwhile, India’s Ambassador to Kuwait Adarsh ​​Swaika visited Al-Adan Hospital in Kuwait City. Here he enquired about the condition of the Indians who were burnt in the fire.
