1- PM Modi’s message to Bangladesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed hope that the situation in Bangladesh will soon normalise and the safety of Hindus and other minority communities will be ensured there. In his Independence Day speech from the ramparts of the Red Fort, he also said that he will wish well for Bangladesh’s development journey.

Modi said, “As a neighbouring country, it is natural for us to be concerned about what has happened in Bangladesh. I hope that the situation there will normalise soon. The concern of 140 crore countrymen is that the safety of Hindus and minority communities should be ensured there.”

He said, “India always wants that our neighbouring countries follow the path of happiness and peace. We have a commitment towards peace, we have our values. In the coming days, we will always wish well for Bangladesh’s development journey, because we are people who think about the welfare of mankind.”

2- PM Modi showed commitment on the issue of reform

If we listen to PM Modi’s speech carefully, we can see a new agenda included in it. This part of his speech needs a lot of attention. He expressed that if work is not done rapidly on local self-governance and state level, then there can be many problems in achieving India’s ambitious agenda. This is the reason why he mentioned 3 lakh units of governance in his speech. If these lakhs units do two reforms each, then 30 lakh reforms can be done.

PM Modi has also clarified about the reforms in his speech. He said that the government’s reforms are not the kind of events that make big economic news in the pink paper. This is going to be a very deep work. For this, new types of reforms will come, which will have a great impact on the life of every person. PM Modi also talked about the public opinion regarding judicial reforms.

3- Opposition targeted over corruption and negative politics

Action against corruption has been one of the main agendas of the central government in the last 10 years. During the last Lok Sabha elections also BJP had raised this issue strongly. The second big headline that has come out of PM Modi’s speech is that his attack on those who are upset with India’s progress, are pessimistic, corrupt, nepotistic, is going to be strong.

This warning of PM Modi can be seen in connection with the recent events. Without taking any names, PM Modi attacked the negative politics of the opposition parties in the country after reports like Hindenburg.

4- PM Modi strongly advocated for ‘one nation, one election’

Referring to the fact that frequent elections create a hindrance in the country’s progress, the Prime Minister said that the announcement of any scheme made by the government is often linked to electoral gains and losses. Referring to ‘one nation, one election’, he said that there has been a wide discussion in the country on this, all political parties have put forth their views and for this, the committee constituted under the chairmanship of former President Ram Nath Kovind has also prepared its report.

He said, “The country will have to come forward for One Nation, One Election. From the Red Fort, I urge the political parties of the country, I urge the people who understand the Constitution of the country to come forward to realize the dream of ‘One Nation, One Election’ for the progress of India, with the aim of ensuring maximum use of India’s resources.” Referring to the current situation in Bangladesh, the Prime Minister expressed hope that normalcy would be restored there soon.

5- Efforts to manage education, employment and regional politics as well

The Prime Minister said that Bihar has a proud history, we have rebuilt Nalanda University here. Nalanda University has started working once again. But we will have to awaken that centuries-old Nalanda spirit once again in the field of education. The Nalanda spirit has to be lived, with great faith in that Nalanda spirit, we will have to work to give new consciousness to the traditions of knowledge of the world. The Prime Minister said that many states have taken good steps on the new education policy. Due to this, the new education policy has a big role in the emphasis we want to give to our education system in accordance with the 21st century and the way we want to prepare the human group for a developed India.

PM Modi also tried to manage tribal politics through Birsa Munda. PM said that the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda is coming, this should be a source of inspiration for all of us. What kind of feelings a small person has for the society, where can we get more than that. His birth anniversary is coming, when we celebrate his 150th birth anniversary, our affection towards the society should increase, we should take all the poor, Dalits, tribals of the society with us.
